Many people are surprised to learn that the drilling currently taking place at our Otway National Research Facility happens 24-hours, seven days a week.
One 15 person crew works 12 noon – 12 midnight. Another crew takes over for the 12 midnight – 12 noon shift. The crew sleep in on site cabins. There are also cooks and cleaners on site.
