CO2CRC seeking a Commercial Services Advisor

About Us

CO2CRC specialises in scientific research aimed at lowering carbon emissions, with particular focus on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) technologies. To undertake this work CO2CRC partners with pre-eminent Australian and international research organisations and major corporations. CO2CRC also owns CO2Tech Pty Ltd, a recently formed multi-disciplinary technical consultation, advisory and project management services company. CO2CRC employs highly skilled well-rounded professionals in the fields of science, engineering, economics, finance and business administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and review of commercial contracts, some exposure to contracting service agreements pertaining to intellectual property rights would be advantageous
  • Co-ordinate membership admission process for corporate and research member entities
  • Provide business services support to the BD and Operations functions including writing and editing business proposal documents
  • Work with the Operations and Finance teams to ensure proposal pricing is underpinned with sound detailed project budgets
  • Provide assistance to the Executive team to track business strategy progress
  • Prepare documentation for Board and sub-Committee reporting
  • Assist in the identification of new business opportunities

About You

CO2CRC is looking for an emerging business professional with the following qualifications, skills and personal attributes:

  • Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce
  • CA, CPA or MBA advantageous but not essential
  • 5-7 years post degree business experience, preferably worked in a professional services/consulting/engineering firm
  • Business proposal writing experience
  • Exposure to project budgeting and forecasting advantageous
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Project)
  • Exposure to CRM systems
  • Highly motivated, solutions focused professional with superior commercial acumen
